"People Always Leave"... OTH don't go.

I can't believe last night was the second to last episode of One Tree Hill. Yes, I'm 20 something years old and I'm still watching the show but I can't help it. The show sucked me in when I was a freshman in high school and I fell in love! There's no shame. I'm obsessed. I'm not sure what I'm going to do after its over. Any One Tree Hill fans??

Eating at Home!!

Early morning breakfast!
This morning I woke up extra early for work to eat a quick yummy breakfast! I needed something that would stick with me for a while since I knew I wouldn't be able to break away from the desk throughout most of my day until lunch. Breakfast was Food For Life's Cinamon Rasin sprouted grain bread topped with some delicious MaraNatha Almond Butter to go on top of my toasted goodness! Soooo good!

Din Din
Ever since John and I moved from Illinois we have a very very difficult time eating "home cooked meals". We litterally eat out 4-5 times a week, This is something we are NOT proud of and know that we could be eating so much healthier and not to mention save a lot of money.I know there is no "excuse" BUT if I can give one excuse...we both work full time and just don't feel like cooking, or waiting for that matter. Yesterday I was off work which helped give me a boost of energy! So last night we had a cooked meal!! It was super easy too! We made Chicken kabobs and John did a great job grilling them for us! I felt like it was a special occasion sitting at our dinner table eating dinner that WE cooked! Hopefully this will turn into a habit!

The Hunger Games & Firehouse!

I did it. I've been sucked into The Hunger Games! After seeing so many tweets and posts about everyone reading the series and then giving great reviews about the movie I purchased the book last night.

I'm hooked.

And guess what? John is reading it as I type this post! We are both hoping to finish the book sometime this week so we can go see the movie together! I can't wait to find out what happens!

Tonight for dinner John and I headed over to Firehouse. We tend to frequent Firehouse A LOT! (That is no exaggeration!!!) We have visited Firehouse so much that we have gotten to know the employees pretty well. There is one employee in particular that is always consistent and provides us with great service and goes above and beyond for the customers that enter the restaurant. I am always blown away as he remembers what we order and even John's name! Wow! Great service is what keeps bringing back customers and us too!

NYR: Neals Yard Remedies

"What you put on your body is as important as what you put into your body."

I started using the NYR after I won a giveaway hosted by my friend Lianne. She is an NYR consultant who is a stay at home mom who wanted to bring in extra income for her family while still having a flexible schedule to care for her baby Kaitlyn.

I won the facial cleansing scrub kit (cleanser, moisturizer, & polish) geared specifically towards dry skin which is something I have always had problems with and I was blown away by the difference it made! My skin definitely wasn't dry anymore and looked smooth, soft, and normal for once! :) Most of all, I was happy to be using a product that was chemical free and was benefiting and repairing my skin and body!

NYR is a certified organic skin and beauty company that has been around for 30 years in the UK. They are just now selling their products in the U.S. in the form of direct selling. The reason why NYR is so wonderful is because they only use natural organic ingredients to make their products. Not only does this prevent you from rubbing harmful chemicals onto your skin (which has been proven to cause health complications) but it also benefits your skin by providing it with natural ingredients that your skin can absorb correctly and in a timely manner as well as benefit skin appearance and overall health.

This alone, ultimately had me teeter-tottering over the idea to become an NYR consultant. After doing A LOT of research about Neals Yard Remedies and learning about their vision and reasoning behind these products I decided to become a consultant for a CERTIFIED organic skin care company.

If you are someone who knows the importance of living an organic lifestyle or maybe you are not quite sure about organic products, but are interested in learning more I encourage you to check out NYR Organic products! They are friendly to all age groups: babies, expecting mothers, teens, adults, they even have a great anti-aging and makeup line!

Check it out!
