Walking Trail

Walking Trail

Today I got off work a little early so I decided to take Bentley on an afternoon walk on the walking trail. The trail is 4 miles in and 4 miles back.  It is paved and marked every half mile. I ran the trail the other day and had no problem getting my heart rate up thanks to all of the hills. However, today I took it a bit easy and just walked. The trail is very enjoyable and absolutely beautiful! It's surrounded by the Oconee Golf course, as well as the Golf Academy. It is perfectly shaded by the surrounding trees and allows just enough sunlight to enjoy the outdoors and the beauty of the property. I am so thankful to live so close to this wonderful trail. I'm sure Bentley would agree :)

Here are some pictures of the trail!

We ventured a little off the trail to snap this picture!

Informative signs..(or so I thought)

This was the turning around point. Not because I didn't want to go further but I simply did not know which way to go. There were no arrows pointing me in the right direction...hmmm.

Last but certainly not least.... Bentley was reunited with his daddy and new friend Cedric. He was greeted by his daddy with a nice ice cold water-(which he drank almost the whole bottle!) Bentley loves showing off his cutenes. It never fails that someone will mention something about how cute Bentz is or will want to pet him. He loves it! As we wrapped up our visit Bentely got his daddy to walk him to the car :)
